CORS is such a fcked-up system that induces multiple heart pains and compulsive refreshing of webpage in students. My adrenaline glands are working overtime due to constantly worrying if im still in the running for the course. Why cant it be like last time, where the teachers and admin staff do all the shit for us.. Like planning the timetable, lectures and such. And all we weakling, clueless students have to do is to indicate the modules of our choice. And in 5 mins, imma have to refresh the page. AGAIN.


Apart from this ridiculous misery, yesteraday was indeed a very fun and somehow nostalgic day. I met up with PEARLYN and LIU YING at VJC to get our certs. I realised that me MIA-ing had caused me to miss alot about my friends. Hannah's attached, Liu Ying wants to get married, Pearlyn got a proposal from her bf and Kai wan.. well she's still Kai Wan. HAHAHA. We went to ASTON'S at Singpost for lunch(for me la, coz they ate already) and we talked and talked. Though the day spent together was for a short while, it was still very nice :) Nice to see them again :) And congratulations to Pearlyn for getting her driver's license! Drive me to school hor! Now i got three personal transportation. Pearlyn and her car, Syam and her bike and not forgetting, Boyfriend and his TRUCK! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. so fun :)


Next pitstop was to NUS for matriculation exercise. Was pretty ok, despite the bloody long queues. CCA fair was fun. Very interested in Malay Dance and Silat but a certain special someone didnt quite agree with Silat, so Malay Dance for me :) I dun think im cut out to fight people also. ha. Syam was forever on a look-out for handsome mats (blurgh) and i think she found a few from the DEMOCRATIC Society. hahaha. She was so flirting with them lor. I spy at her from afar and omg, flirting galore! Angel on the other hand was very interested in turn-tabling at the ORIGINAL MUSIC SOCIETY. cool cca, but too bad i cant spin like a DJ. Maybe I can open up a new cca " The Dancfloor Society", then we can collaborate with OMS!


And I cant wait for tmr. Meeting boyfie after performance :) Its been like, what, ten thousand years since i last met him? haha, exxagerate some more la safirah.


Once again, CORS would be the death of me. I bet NTU is laughing at me for rejecting them now. Pisser.

Bloody tiring.

Had two performances today. One at NEE SOON EAST CC and the other at MALAY VILLAGE. And bloody hell, both performances were shit. Shit not as in the quality of our performance (not bragging , but we're not bbad for a baby dance group :)) but in the organisation of the events. We had to wait for donkey years for both events before we could get our items done. At NEE SOON, the g-o-h was super-duper late while the one at MALAY VILLAGE.. well, let's just say there were too many contestants. But all in all, they were pretty fine. Only one minor glitch. NEE SOON has not paid us yet. blurgh.

And to boyfriend, sorry i couldnt meet u and send u off. I didnt expect my item would be pushed forward.. I guess I'll just meet u on saturday. I'll make it up to you.. We'll go watch fireworks and kiss under the fireworks okay? But boyfie uber sweet. He came all the way from WHAMPOA to GEYLANG to see me for like a mere 3 minutes. Then he had to rush off to sembawang camp to book in. ONLY 3 MINUTES! and he was not even angry that our plans had to be cancelled. All he said was he is contented that he could see my face even for a pathetic 3 minutes. Its this sweet, small actions of his that made me fall for him in the first place... Sigh.

And yesterday, boyfriend ate dinner with my family for the first time. He was shaking in his pants, which look looked absolutely adorable :) but the dinner went super-duper well :) atok likes him :) yay.

And the day before, he met with my dad and step-mom. Dad approves of him too :) Double yayness.

Finally, i cut my hair short. Looks like concave-style, with bangs. I dunno if I look better with this hairstyle but what I'm sure of is that I need to get use to this. FAST. coz i need to face like ten million people in school!

And stupid me, i cut my hair short when I have TWO performances this friday. I totally forgot. WTF. I'm so gonna die trying to force my hair into a bun. I'm in uber deep shit.

And, today is my first time skyping with DAYAH and boyfriend. Skype rocks. No more $200+++ handphone bill. Yay to me :)

I met boyfie after I chopped off my hair. We talked about some issues. And I was really really touched by what he said to me. It was very emotional and i cudnt stop myself from tearing up. I hate to be so vunerable and fragile, but he touches my heart all the time. Like what Beyonce sang in 'Halo' :

"Remember those walls I built. Well baby they're tumbling down. And they didn't even put up a fight. They didn't even make a sound. I found a way to let you in. But I never really had a doubt. Standing in the light of your halo I got my angel now"

This is exactly how I feel. All this time, I'm always suspicious and always putting my guard up whenever it comes to relationships. I try not to like someone so fast so that I would not get hurt. Coz being heartbroken is an extremely tiring feeling. It gets harder each time the heart gets broken. But when Rasyad came along, all those suspicions and 'walls' that I built to protect myself from getting hurt vanish. Just like that. I found myself letting him take over my heart. And I didnt even struggle to keep him away. He is just what i need in a man and I thank God that he's mine :) Im really grateful for that.

So, I guess, "I got my angel now" :)

Insomnia

goddamn its 3 am and im still wide awake. I switched off my lappie to go to sleep but i just cant drift of to dreamland..


i guess i miss boyfriend. I know its only been like 5 hrs since we last met, but i miss him already. I hate it how time passes by so fast when im with him but super-duper slow like tortoise when he is in camp.

HAPPY 2ND MONTH ANNIVERSARY TO US!

Guess what? We did go to HAW PAR VILLA after all! I initially wanted to take lotsa pictures there with boyfriend but we ended up being totally freaked out to be snap-happy. hahaha. the most interesting part of the whole trip there was the TEN COURTS OF HELL. Scareey giler. Im gonna be a super good girl from now on. Yeah right.


Then, we head off to CITY HALL coz i needed to buy men's long sleeve shirt for this sunday's performance. Got one for $9.90. Sleeve damn long, but its ok.. It's the cheapest I can find, so i shall be contented. And boyfriend said something about me wearing men's shirt.... hmmmm..


After shopping, we thought of watching movie at MARINA SQUARE. But unfortunately, there was nothing interesting to watch. Yes, nothing interested us, surprisingly. In the end, boyfriend bought kebab while I bought big gulp and cookies and we ate at esplanade. That's when our multiple rounds of cam-whoring took place. Super fun :)

Finally, we went back to tampines for supper at KFC. and boyfriend had a tiny "accident" which required us to quickly find a toilet. It was hilarious watching his stressed-out expresssions. Sorry sweetheart, but i enjoyed watching you try to "keep it all in".


The night ended with him sending me home:) but atok saw us seh. atok spy at us from the kitchen window. But lucky us atok's vision very poor ;)



Happy 2nd Month Anniversary Sayang!!

Of all days to rain, it has to be today. Bummer.

Today we are suppose to go HAW PAR VILLA. yeah, weird place for celebrating our 2nd month, but we wanted to go/do something we've never done before. so since its raining, i guess thats a no-no. But we haven talked about it yet since BOYRFIEND IS STILL NOT UP YET. double bummer.


Anyways, my sister came home last night. She said she immediately packed her bags after reading last night's post. It was a nice shock. and ibu was uber happy and overjoyed. We ended up watching indon horror movie together. Perfect bonding activity :)


and boyfriend is still not up yet.

Come back home

Adik called in the afternoon to ask me about my facebook account. But the phonecall turned out to be one of the most emotional phonecall in my life. I missed her so much that just hearing her voice made me teared up. But things became a whirlpool of emotions when ibu talked to adik. At first, ibu tried to remain her composure. But like all loving and soft-hearted mothers, she broke down, saying how she misses adik very much. Seeing how both of them forgave and forget each others mistakes and instead focussed on their strong love for each other made me feel at peace. Its been a long time since both of them spoke or saw each other, as both were too proud to give in. But now, everything's fine. Though my sister still would not want to come home. Maybe she still needs time. I understand, and if time is what she needs, then we will give it to her. Whatever it is, we will wait patiently for her to come back home to us, like how we used to be.

I admit i used to wish she would go away whenever we fought or she landed me into trouble. But now, being apart made me realise that I need her by my side.

Okay people. I know you lucky creatures get to go to Lady Gaga's concert. I'm happy for you. But please stop bragging about it on air, online or wherever. Yes, I do sound like a bunch of sourgrapes. But who cares?? She is the 2nd female singer that i would kill to watch live (1st is Beyonce but it would only be when i have 3 wobbly teeth left and have to wear adult diapers that she would even CONSIDER to perform here). I've missed her first showcase here, and now im gonna miss it again. Damn. Damn. Damn.

It's an euphoric rush!

Major euphoric rush! I just got my very own laptop yesterday. Yeah, many would think what's so euphoric about getting a laptop.. Well, if you have spent 19 years on earth deprived of this luxury, yes, the feeling is indeed euphoric. Mind-blowing, sweet euphoria.

Anyways, me and Miss Shiky had to get our bodies poked, radiated and squeezed at RAFFLES MEDICAL CENTER. It was a funny first-time affair actually. First, we were asked to collect our urine in a tiny tube case for the urine sample. Sounds easy. But not if you're a girl. Then, we had to strip for the X-ray. The nurse asked if there's a possibility if i may be pregnant and i gave her a definite no. She gave me a questioning look like, "Girl, are you sure?". Like what's that suppose to mean. The X-ray procedure was surprisingly non-scary. I thought i had to lie on this huge operating table and untie my robe for whatever rays to penetrate me. But luckily, all i had to do was to stand against a board machine (robe intact, THANK GOD), and inhale deep. All was over in 38 seconds. Phew.

The next few checks were the normal stuff, like vision checks, height and weight measurements, and etcetera. Mine went fine, but i cant say the same for Miss Shiky. Apparently, she has this mechanism in her that triggers off laughing fits when anyone touches her "stufff". Amazing, isnt it? Doctor McDreamy, please do tests on her. All in all, the medical check-up wasnt as frightening as i thought it would be. And i learnt one thing, X-rays do show the outline of a woman's boobs.

And i really miss my boyfriend, Rasyad. Its been more than a week since we last met up, but it felt like more trhan a year. And tmr's pur 2nd month aniversary:) So i really cant wait to meet my darling boyfriend.
